How to transfer securities from existing Demat to my new Demat with CDSL ?

Online Mode:

• If the existing demat account with the broker is with NSDL- Go to NSDL website and select "Speed-e-facility".
• If the existing demat account with the broker is with CDSL- Go to CDSL website and select "Easiest".
• Fill in all the necessary details on the form and submit it. 
• Submit the signed form to your existing broker who would send it to the respective Depository for verification.
• Upon successful verification, you will receive a username and password via email. This may take 2 days.
• Use these credentials to transfer your securities digitally to your Emint's Demat account.

Offline Mode:

• Get Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS) from your existing stock broker. 
• Fill in all the necessary details:

1. Transfer type :  If transferring from your CDSL account to Emint's CDSL account, then select- "Off Market/ Intra-Depository Transfer". If transferring from your NSDL account to Emint's CDSL account, then select- "Inter-Depository Transfer".

2. Transfer type : If transferring from your CDSL account to Emint's CDSL account, then select- "Off Market/ Intra-Depository Transfer". If transferring from your NSDL account to Emint's CDSL account, then select- "Inter-Depository Transfer".

3. Client Target ID - Your 8 digit DP ID and 8 digit BO ID combined makes the 16 digit Demat account number.

4. ISIN - Every security has a 12 digit International Securities Identification Number (ISIN). You need to mention the ISIN and quantity of security you want to transfer.

• Once you have filled and signed the DIS, submit it to your existing broker who will share it with the DP. There may be a small fee charged, which may vary depending on the broker. Do not forget to collect the acknowledgment slip.
• The details will be verified by the DP and your securities will be transferred to Emint's demat account within 3-5 days.
