What is the onboarding process at Emint ?

Step 1 : KYC & basic details 

Enter your PAN number and DOB to begin the KYC process. The system will check for the relevant details. If the PAN number and DOB are authenticated, then proceed to add basic details like gender, marital status & father’s name 

Step 2 : Digilocker & Selfie 

Proceed to verify your aadhar & create / provide digilocker pin. Then proceed to capture your selfie. Give permission to access your camera & location to complete selfie verification. 

Step 3 : Basic details verification

Proceed to verify basic details like full name, father name, gender, marital status. 

Step 4: Address verification 

Verify / change the prepopulated address that is fetched from your aadhar card. 

Step 5 : Bank account verification 

Enter your bank account number & IFSC code. Our system will check for relevant bank details. If everything is in order click confirm and proceed. 

If their an issue with the bank account verification, then you will be requested to upload a blank cheque to proceed further. 

Step 6 : Segment choice 

If you want to choose to trade in derivatives ( Futures & Options) then you will have to select the derivative segment and income proof ( Income Tax returns for 2 years, Last 3 month’s salary slip, latest Form 16, Net-worth certificate, Bank account statement for last 6 months OR Copy of demat account holding statement ). Post backend verification of the uploaded documents and if found in order you will be provided with access to derivates trading. 

Step 7 : Declarations 

As mandated by SEBI brokers have to collect certain mandatory declarations from the users like occupation, income, trading experience and political connections. 

Step 8 : Nominee details 

In this section you can choose to add nominees for your investment account with Emint. You can add upto 3 nominees with a total share of 100% divided between the 3. You can also choose to add nominees at a later stage. 

Step 9 : Signature upload 

In this section you will have to upload your signature for verification & matching. 

Step 10 : Preview & Esign 

In this section you will be able to preview all the details submitted. Post confirmation you will be taken through a document e-sign process via Aadhar linked mobile number.
