What are Dividends ?

Modified on Fri, 4 Oct at 11:57 AM

Dividends are a share of the company's profits that are paid out to  the shareholders of the stock at specific periods, usually quarterly or annually.

If you hold the share on the execution date of a dividend stock, then you will receive the dividend in your bank account linked with the Emint account.

A company typically announces the dividend execution date ( ex-date ), which is typically shown under the events tab for a particular stock in the Emint app.
