What are Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's)?

Modified on Thu, 3 Oct at 3:12 PM

Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), as the name implies are funds that trade on stock exchange.

Typically, ETFs will track a particular index, sector, commodity, or other assets, but unlike mutual funds, ETFs can be traded (purchased or sold) on a stock exchange, in a  similar way than a regular security can.

Example : Niftybess, SilverETF, Goldbees.
